Crafting clarity from the finest materials
Glass Supply
Our selection of glass products includes a variety of options such as tinted, low-e, and patterned glass that are perfect for a wide range of applications.
The process begins with large sheets of glass, available in various thicknesses, tints and coatings.
Our state of the art cutting machine is equipped with advanced technology that allows us to cut the glass to almost any custom size, ensuring that our clients get the exact size and shape they need for their projects.
Once cut, the glass can be supplied non-tempered (also known as “float glass” or “annealed”) or it can be heat-treated in the tempering furnace. Tempering is achieved by exposing the glass to extremely high temperatures and then cooling it rapidly.
Tempered glass appearance when broken
Tempered glass is four times stronger than annealed glass, with an increased resistance to impact. When broken, tempered glass breaks into slightly rounded pieces, rather than sharp shards. This is why it is considered “safety glass”.
Insulated Glass
We can combine our many glass types to meet your performance and aesthetic requirements
An insulated unit is comprised of two pieces of glass separated by a spacer bar.
The spacer bar contains a desiccant, which is a drying unit used to remove humidity and moisture present in between the panes of glass.
The process begins with adding a layer of Polyisobutylene(PIB) to the spacer bar to adhere it to the glass. This is the first step in sealing the two panes of glass together.
The insulating machine will then press the unit together, adhering the glass, PIB and spacer bar.
Next a two-component Polysulphide sealant (base and catalyst) is applied as an outside seal around the spacer bar. A chemical reaction takes places, curing the seal, creating a moisture barrier around the unit.
The dual-sealed unit is now hermitically sealed.
Dual-sealed units increase the energy efficiency of windows.
The look and efficiency of a glass unit can be modified by incorporating tinted, patterned and coated glass types.

The benefits of Low-E glass include:
- improved energy efficiency compared to clear float glass
- high solar heat gain, further decreasing the need for heating and lighting
- can be used as single (monolithic) glass or incorporated into Insulating Glass Units
